Checklist for designing October 20 cards and labels for print

• Bleed: extend backgrounds and images about 3 mm past the trim line on each side so no white edge shows after cutting. See what bleed is.

• Safe zone: keep text and logos at least 3 mm from the cut edge; for shaped labels, leave more room at rounded corners.

• Font size: small text and thin strokes blur easily on a 50 × 50 mm label. Print a test at actual size before you finalize.
